This Privacy Policy explains how [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("Mooviro", "we") collects and uses your personal data when you use the Mooviro app and website (the "Platform"), in accordance with Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data. 1. Data we collect
Account: your Moroccan mobile number, your name and your preferred language. For agencies, also the agency's name, address, phone number, logo and business documents.
Documents: the ID card or passport and the driving licence that renters upload, and the documents agencies upload for their business and their cars (registration, insurance, technical inspection).
Bookings: the car, dates, prices, deposits, status, cancellation reasons, ratings and reviews.
Location: your phone's location, only when you allow it, to show cars near you; and the location an agency sets for its cars.
Technical data: your device's notification token, its type (Android or iOS), the app version, whether its settings let booking alerts through and when an alert reached it, and error reports that do not contain your name, phone number or documents.
2. Why we use it
To create your account and sign you in with a code sent by SMS.
To show cars, send and manage booking requests, and put renters and agencies in contact.
To review agencies, cars and documents, and to prevent fraud and misuse.
To send you notifications about your bookings and your account.
To provide support, keep the Platform secure and working, and meet our legal obligations.
We use your data because it is necessary to provide the service you ask for, with your consent (for example for documents and location), and to meet our legal obligations.
3. Who can see your data
The agency you book with: before it accepts, your first name, number of completed rentals and rating; once it accepts, your full name, phone number and documents. The agency is responsible for its own use of your data and may use it only for the rental and as the law allows.
Renters: an agency's name, address, phone number, cars and ratings.
Mooviro staff, only when they need it for reviews and support.
Our service providers, only to run the Platform: Google Firebase (sign-in codes and notifications), DigitalOcean (hosting and file storage), Google Maps (maps and addresses) and Sentry (error reports).
Public authorities, when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for advertising.
4. Transfers outside Morocco
Some of our service providers process data outside Morocco. We use them only under contracts that protect your data, and with the authorisation of the CNDP where the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
Account data: while your account exists. When you ask to delete your account, it is closed at once and fully deleted 30 days later, unless you reactivate it by signing in before then.
Documents in your profile: deleted with your account.
Booking records, including the details and documents attached to a booking: kept for as long as the law requires.
Error reports: kept for a limited time, then deleted.
6. How we protect it
Your data travels over encrypted connections. Documents are stored privately and can only be opened through short-lived links by the people allowed to see them. Access is limited to those who need it.
7. Your rights
Under Law No. 09-08, you can ask to access your data, correct it, object to its processing for legitimate reasons, and withdraw your consent. You can update most of your data in the app and delete your account from Account. To use your rights, contact us (section 10). You can also complain to the CNDP (www.cndp.ma).
8. Children
The Platform is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
9. Changes to this policy
We may change this policy. We will tell you in the app before an important change takes effect.
